I notice we don't have a lead on Peggy Blundell, daughter of Peter Rimmer. Only a theory this, no proof, but William Blundell (1775) and Isabel Ball (1761) have a daughter Alice (1800). In 1841 the three of them are together, along with a 15 year old Margaret Blundell. She cannot be William & Isabel's, but could easily be Alice's.

I agree with your findings on the family of Richard Wareing and Ellen Abram. I originally assigned Jane (bapt 18 Sept 1831) as their child, but I now agree with you on this. I have 2 baptisms which you don't have for their children - Elizabeth (1 Mar 1840, St. John's, Crossens) and Stephen (14 Jan 1844, St. John's, Crossens). There is no baptism recorded for Richard b ~1842 at either at Crossens or St. Cuthbert's.

research of Steve Baxter
I noticed that you hadn't followed his brother Benjamin Wright in 1891, so I had a look myself and I think I've found him, listed as Benj Wright (married to a Mary with 4 children)  and also with him is his widowed father James Wright (aged 69, which agrees with the ages he gives in earlier census returns).  He's at 15 St Lukes Road in 1891, and at Peter (Diamond) Wright's death he is said to be at 17 St Lukes Road, and you know how the families like to live close to each other.

Benjamin & Mary are still at 15 St Lukes Road in 1901, and a see that his occupation is "Boatman on Marine Lake", probably a lot safer than being a fisherman.  I'll attach the jpegs for the 1891 and 1901 Census so you can have a look.  I'm not sure who Benjamin's wife is yet - there are two possible marriages, she's either a Wright (married in 1883) or an Ainscough (in 1884).  The 1883 marriage is not certain, as there are four people listed on the same page, but the 1884 is fairly certain as I got it from Lancashire BMDs.  I don't think I'll have a gravestone for Benjamin Wright, but I'll have a look later once I've been for my afternoon walk.

Research of Judy Bradwell
Hi - re Physic Rigby - a nickname with which to conjure - and it
  rang a bell.

There are  pictures of him in the book Don E Want Ony Srimps?
Picture 1 is captioned: "Boy Bob" Crossens Sluice 1936. Jack Physic
Rigby fished in Boy Bob up to his death in 1956.

Picture 2: Mornington Rd Wesleyan's Sunday School Rowing Team c
1897 was composed of fishermen. Thomas Rymer, Tosser Wright, Physic
Rigby, Ned Rigby and Ikey Wright.

Picture 3: Peter Diamond Wright - a 24-year old fisherman of 17 St
Luke's road who perished in the great lifeboat disaster of 1887.
His widow also lost a brother, uncle and cousin, all three had
formerly lived in Little London, but had moved to Ecclesfield. Peter
Diamond came from a Marshside family and was a brother in law of
   John Physic Rigby.

Picture 4: Southport Boating Company boatshed staff 1930s, Bill
Jackson, Jack Jackson, John Wright, Jack Physic Rigby, Bob Wright
   and William Wignall.

There's also a picture of his wife Elizabeth 1877 to 1973. In 1973,
Elizabeth, then 96 is quoted as saying: "The boats 'ad no engines
in. They'd just  got sail.  If it was calmed they couldn't go out.
A'n if it was blowing too hard they couldn't go out.  It was a hard
life. You'd got out to sea and often there was nothing and you'd
   come back without anything."

Tim Rigby, one of her sons recalled: "I ws poor as poor an' I'd not
   two pennies to rub together."

Fred (Stretch) Rigby relationship not stated) said:  My father was
a fisherman an' if he didn't get no fish we got no food."

Tim Rigby described the fishermen of Little London as "the proper
fishermen not messers, who had other forms of making a living."

Evidence (Don E wont...) shows however that some Little London men
did indulge in a variety of fishing activities.

Tim Rigby's description of the fishermen: "The fishermen of
Southport had buckled shoes, bell-bottomed serge trousers, double
reefer ga'nsey - "ome made  an' a sealskin 'at. A reffer was a
double breated coat, serge and they looked smart. Our wives and
mothers used to knit us ga'nseys on  eight needles. An' they didn't
stitch the sleeves, they just kept going until they finished with
four needles at the end of each sleeve. They could do them fancy
   and everything."

According to Tim Rigby the Lily was owned by Wm Rigby of 46 Hart St
with his father Jack Physic Rigby as crew. Tim Rigby claimed ath
when his father died in 1956 leaving his son to claim that his
father was the last of the Little London fishermen.

I've asked another (local to me nearby in Levin) Sandgrounder. "Ah
yes, Physic," he said. "There was a boy with me at Norwood Rd
Primary called Physic.  He got that name because he was tall and
thin and always taking some medicine or another."

He's not sure of the surname, and we don't think this could be the
Physic Rigby who died in 1956 with a son Tim Rigby... But Alf says
nicknames were often handed on down in families.  (He knew a Tim
Rigby - who kept a bicycle shop.)

This is a work in progress.  I would appreciate knowing when you find errors.
